Our age specification Classes.

The whole pre-school programme is divided into four age groups:
Classes Required age by Baisakh/ at the beginning of the academic session

Montessori Infant 18-23
Montessori Playgroup (P.G) 23 - 29 months (1.11 - 2 years)
Foundation 30 - 41 months (2.6 - 3.5 years)
Preschool - 1 (Psc1) 42 - 53 months (3.6- 4.5 years)
Preschool - 2 (Psc2) 54 -66 months (4.6- 5.6 years)
Note.
Our Playgroup developes many fundamental concepts through play which eventually developes and broaden with each term of the year. They are gradually introduces to key concepts that build literacy, using Sandpaper Letters, Stories, models and daily activities. With music, books, movement and creative projects, learning are always exciting.
Our program strikes a balance between the nurturing care children received as infants and toddlers and the growing structure and independence that will define their school years.
Each quarter, children work with more challenging concepts all geared up for higher learning. At the end of the 4yrs of pre-school experienced and training our children will be ready with all the skills and knowledge to excel in primary level of schooling.
Class size and child adult ratio.
The maximum class size permitted in the preschool is 25 and 15 in playgroups. When a class reaches 25 students, the grade is either closed to new enrollments, another section is created, or additional personnel are provided. The child adult ratio in PG is 7:1, 8:1 in foundation and 12:1 in preschool.
Academic year.
The school academic year is divided into three terms
Term 1
Baisakh, Jestha, Ashad, Shrawan
Term 2
Bhadra, Aswin, Kartik, Mangsir
Term 3
Poush, Magh, Falgun, Chaitra
School Timing
The school starts from 9am and gets over at 2:30pm except for playgroup which gets over at 1pm. However the school starts from 9:30am during winter but closes at the usual time. Students should arrive not earlier than 9:00am in summer and 9:30 am in winter as there is no supervision before this time. Teachers are out on duty to welcome and supervise children from 9:00 am and 9:30am in summer and winter respectively. Parents are requested to pick up their wards from the school no later then 2:30pm unless your child is enrolled for extended hour service. After 2:30 pm teachers and aunties go back to their respective afternoon duties and the school does not bear responsibility for any accidents occurred after this hour of the day. Therefore, it is important for parents to collect their wards on time in order to avoid accidents.

The faculty members remains at the school until 4:30 in summer and 4:00 pm in winter.
Admission Criteria
The students must meet the entry age of the admission seeking class and must be toiled trained. Prospective parents should be willing to abide by all the rules and regulations started in the school prospectus and the school parents’ handbook. They also agree with the school philosophy in educating the children.
Following documents are required to submit along with the school application form.
  1. The child’s progress report (if applying for any other classes then PG)
  2. Photo copy of child’s Birth Certificate
  3. Child’s medical records and immunization record
  4. House location map
School fees
The school fees are payable for twelve months in four installment:
1st. Installment – Baisakh, Jestha, Ashard (last date of payment Baisakh 30).
2nd. Installment – Shrawan, Bhadra, Aswin (last date of payment Shrawan 32).
3rd. Installment – Kartik, Mandsir, Poush ( last date of payment Kartik 29).
4th. Installment – Magh, Falgun, Chaitra (last date of payment Magh 28).
