| Our school is run by a team of dedicated teachers who have years of experience working with children. They are either chosen among the best trainees of the NMTC of being hired and trained due to their excellent aptitude and skills required to be a teacher. Our Trained teachers and supporting staffs make sure that each child is helped to excel to its optimum potential. All the class teachers are well-trained, caring and constantly monitored and trained by the NMTC. This Team is lead by a professional teacher trainer and educator Ms. Pawitra Limbu who has also been awarded “Rastriya Nari Sammann 2061, Jagrit Samaj Nepal 2064, Nepal Yuwa Samaj 2065, Rastriya Bikash Abhiyan Nepal 2065, Shanit Ra Bikash Ko Lagi Nagarik Aawaj” for her long contribution and dedication in education sector. | Continuous Training and workshop. |
We believe only a well trained and guided teacher can make the learning a life time’s experience. Therefore, the teachers’ development program is equally given importance in our school. In order to make sure that the teachers persistently help the children gain confidence, self-esteem and love of learning the experts of the NMTC conduct training an d workshop on a regular basis.
All the teachers of Montessori Kinderworld branches have to attend a weekly mandatory training and workshops on Sundays. The weekly Sunday training and workshop provide opportunity to our teachers to learn from one another in big and small sharing sessions.
Teachers prepare all their teaching are more discussed in such workshops. The Director of NMTC Ms. Pawitra Limbu regularly conducts the Sunday training and feedback sessions to the teachers. She also gives directions; training in the methodology and approaches before presenting any new concept to the children so that teaching becomes effective. The Sunday meetings are not just enough for us. To address the bigger issues and to update teachers with new trend and practices in early childhood the NMTC conducts Teachers’ Retreat’ twice a year.
Teachers are equipped with all the contemporary skills and knowledge to work with young learners during such retreat. It also provides a wonderful opportunity to review the past achievements and set new teaching goals for forthcoming terms. |

Montessori Kinderworld applies the developmentally appropriate integrated curriculum developed by the NMTC. Our unique curriculum offers a stimulating balance between learning and play.
The curriculum is constantly updated, revised and improved on a yearly basis. We believe that the curriculum should grow along with your child, teaching essential reading and writing, math, science and social skills in a logical, natural sequence to encourage children to learn step by step. Our curriculum departments use current research to create an exclusive, proven curriculum for our teachers-so you know that your child is getting the advantages of a large network of educational resources and the best care available.
Nepal Montessori Training Centre has created an even more comprehensive and up-to-date developmentally appropriate curriculum for pre-school children which is unique and specially designed to prepare Nepali children to be fit into the country’s primary curriculum. It is a comprehensive curricula based on age-appropriate learning activities. Together we provide high-quality early childhood education and development programs that focus on the health, safety and development of the whole child.

| Children friendly teaching method. |
Our method is based on educational theories. As ‘the hands are the tools of men’s intelligence’ children are taught new concepts with concrete manipulative teaching materials. These concepts are presented to the children as a process to fit into the whole cycle of learning.
They have fun with languages phonics, reading and journal writing, they learn about basic math and science concepts, and they explore their creativity through drama, play and the creative arts. All our Montessori apparatus are imported. They are manufactured by the world leading educational material manufacturer.
Each day is filled with songs, games and other fun-filled activities. All the children learn about science, music and art through hands-on projects and theme based activities according to their age group. Monthly themes, weekly topics and daily activities keep the curriculum focused and fun.
Our projects in Nepal study, History, Geography, Botany, Zoology etc. are some of learning hands-on activities that many schools want to learn and introduce to their students. Each year the NMTC develops such new projects for the children of Montessori Kinderworld to meet the growing and changing demand of the world so that our children have all the required basic knowledge and skills to be successful in future. |
