From pre-school to school with Montessori |
Montessori Kinderworld is the brand name of a chain of model pre-schools run by the Nepal Montessori Traning Center(NMTC). The Montessori Kinderworld was founded in 2003 and now operates three centers and one sister concern school, serving more than 800 children ages beginning from 2 years (from 18 months on selected branch) until they are ready for primary school. After the establishment of the NMTC it was strongly felt that its trainees as well as the people interested to work in the early childhood education needed a place where they could practically observe the theories of child center education in reality. Therefore the NMTC started a chain of model pre-schools with a brand name of Montessori Kinderworld with the following goals:
- To provide and introduce the culture of early childhood education based on Montessori principles and philosophy.
- To respect and integrate Nepali culture and value while still being very much Montessorian in its core approach.
- To provide education to the children of early childhood years and to help them grow into a fine human being having a good balance in physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.
- To help the children develop independence and deep self esteem by providing safe and stimulating child friendly environment.
- To give a strong all rounded pre-school foundation to its students so that they will have smooth and successful transition into primary education.
- To educate and help its school parents about Montessori principle of parenting.
- To establish and develop Montessori Kinderworld as a model early childhood education centre in different communities.

| Our Philosophy. |
Montessori method of education is a world-renowned system of education founded by Dr. Maria Montessori, the first lady physician of Italy who was born in 1870A.D. She gave up her medical profession in order to devote all her energies in advocating the rights and the intellectual potential of young children. Montessori method is the result of her lifelongresearch and observation of children. It is a scientific approach into education, which was so ahead of time that it is still one of the most influencing n going international movement in the field of early childhood education. Montessori was so successful in her work with children that the world now recognizes her as an educator, rather than a physician. |

| We believe. |
- The goal of early childhood education is to help the child’s spontaneous all round development and cultivate the love of learning.
- Children develop themselves for which the adults’ duty is to provide them a conducive and safe environment for learning and exploring.
- Early childhood years are the best period for laying all the foundation of intellectual, social, emotional and physical pattern of behaviors.
- With the right kind of environment and training children can develop a high quality of independence, concentration, co-ordination, patience, order and self-esteem among themselves.
- As the body of the child needs food to grow up so is the mind to be able to compare, contrast, distinguish and differentiate.
